The job

Duties may vary from time to time. Workers will be required to operate farm implements such Case tractors with GPS guidance for purposes of tillage, bedding, and other ground preparation activities for the winter planting season. Workers will also operate custom application equipment as necessary for the purposes of ground maintenance and prevention of weeds during the winter months. Workers will be expected to assist in the integrity of grain being stored in bins, so a working knowledge of operating bins is preferred. Servicing and maintenance of all farm equipment will be performed by workers, as well as day-to-day responsibilities including manual labor, miscellaneous duties in and around the shop, including but not limited to small tool work, torch welding, other routine machinery maintenance and repairs as need, maintenance of drainage and irrigation systems, and other daily shop maintenance.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities for workers so that they may prepare their own meals and will provide transportation for workers to access stores to purchase groceries. Should cooking and kitchen facilities become unavailable to the worker at any time during the period of employment, the employer will provide 3 meals per day to the worker. During this time, the employer will charge $16.78 per day for meals provided to workers.

Transport: Employer will arrange most reasonable method of transportation depending on the workers' country/State of origin, (i.e. airplane, charter bus, employer operated vehicle), or workers may be permitted to arrange their own methods of transportation to and from the place of employment. Employer will not advance funds for transportation costs.

Experience wanted: 3 months

Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by the supervisor. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Minimum of 3 months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. Must be able to lift 75lbs. All tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. General Specifications and Physical Requirements of the Job Work requires repetitive movements, and the majority of time is spent on ones feet. Workers should be able to do the work required with or without reasonable accommodations. Proper work attire is required. A copy of the work contract or a copy of the ETA 790 in lieu of a work contract, and any modifications, will be provided to the worker on the day the work commences.
