The job
EMPLOYEES WILL BE PICKING AND HARVESTING ONION AND FRESH PEANUTS BY HAND. THEY WILL ALSO BE PULLING WEEDS, RAKING, PREPPING THE FIELDS FOR THE NEXT SEASON, CLEANING AREAS AROUND THE FARMS AND BUILDINGS. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE FIELD MAINTENANCE, CAMP SANITATION, LAYING IRRIGATION PIPE, DIGGING DITCHES, PULLING PLASTIC, LOADING AND UNLOADING. THIS WILL ALL BE DONE UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. HEAVY LIFTING, BENDING AND STOOPING WILL BE INVOLVED ON A DAILY BASIS.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer does not provide meals. Employer will provide free, convenient and fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, pots, pans, utensils and counter space cooking and kitchen facilities to workers living in employer provided housing, which will enable workers to prepare their own meals. Employer will also provide free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city to buy food, banking services, Laundry services, and other necessaries.
****: Employer will provide functional laundry facilities for the workers at the housing sites. If the workers choose to go to a laundromat, employer will provide transportation to the facilities but not cover the laundering expenses.

REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS
2 DAY TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER. The training period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of farm work and to familiarize workers with the job specifications and to demonstrate proper harvest methods and other crop specific issues.
