General Farm Worker

The job
Employees will operate equipment with towed feeder wagon implements designated for feeding and bedding cattle. They will assist with calving the herd and care for new born. Check pens for water, cleanness and health conditions of the animals. They will grind feed, vaccinate, brand and tag ears of the animals. Routine maintenance will need to be done on machinery, grounds and structures.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Fully furnished kitchen provided. Workers will have access to grocery stores at least once per week.
Transport: The employer will provide advance transportation for reasonable (most economical) common carrier or other transportation which conforms to the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) in bound transportation (if it is the prevailing practice). If not the prevailing practice, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation costs and subsistence to the employer's work site when the worker completes 50% of the work period.
Experience wanted: 3 months
Employees must speak, read, write and understand English language for record keeping and safety reasons. Cell phones are limited to business calls only. No Texting. No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours. Must have a current drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days. Workers must have three months tractor driving with computerized monitors
