The job

Mucking out stalls and maintaining clean, sanitary bedding

Preparing and distributing feed according to individual horse diets

Cleaning and refilling water buckets and automatic waterers

Grooming and bathing horses to maintain coat health and cleanliness

Cleaning and maintaining tack and other equipment

Applying leg bandages and wraps as needed

Tacking up horses for exercise, training, or veterinary appointments

Providing basic first aid for minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and abrasions

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: We provide a fully equipped, modern kitchen stocked with all necessary cookware and appliances, available free of charge for workers to prepare their own meals. Additionally, a company vehicle is provided once a week for workers to travel to the local grocery store for shopping needs.

For added convenience, a food truck visits the farm daily, six days a week, offering a variety of meal options for purchase.

Transport: We, JULIE DAVIES, LLC, the employer, will provide and pay the workers for transportation (a) to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for us (i.e., inbound) and (b) from the place of employment to the place from which the worker has come to work for the us (i.e., outbound) in the following way: (see Addendum)

Experience wanted: 2 months

Extensive Experience with Thoroughbred Horses: Candidates must have a strong background working specifically with Thoroughbred horses, particularly in a high-performance or breeding farm environment. A deep understanding of their temperament, physical needs, and handling requirements is essential.
