Livestock Laborer

The job

Hay grinding, bailing corn stalks, calving, and manure and fertilizer spreading. Perform other related duties as assigned.

The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with potential nights and weekends required depending on the weather.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Company will provide free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities to the workers that will enable the workers to prepare their own meals. The facilities include refrigeration, microwave, stove top or portable stove top, various cooking accessories, and an adequate sink with both hot and cold water and adequate water pressure, all of which are in working condition. Within the facilities is available cabinet space to store food that does not require refrigeration and counter space for food preparation. Company makes available work trucks or other available vehicles to workers at no cost to access grocery stores whenever necessary outside of work hours.

Transport: Inbound and outbound transportation and related daily subsistence will be paid by the employer to the workers for reasonable costs incurred (e.g., reimbursement). Workers are permitted to select any means of transportation they choose and Company will reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved.
