The job

The seasonal agricultural worker will prepare fields for planting; attach and operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; perform planting, cultivating, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting activities; load, unload, and transport crops, feed, supplies, and agricultural materials using trucks, augers, conveyors, forklifts, and other equipment; drive farm semi-trucks to haul crops and supplies; operate and adjust agricultural equipment; install, maintain, and perform routine repairs on irrigation systems, machinery, equipment, fences, pens, and buildings; record agricultural data; feed and water livestock; monitor animal health and administer medications and vaccinations as directed; assist with breeding, artificial insemination, and births; groom and otherwise care for livestock; herd, sort, identify, and move livestock between pastures, facilities, scales, and trucks; clean livestock facilities and equipment; and maintain livestock production, feeding, operational, and inventory records.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and space for food preparation, as well as the necessary equipment, appliances (including refrigeration),cooking accessories, and dish washing facilities (e.g., adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure) that are in working condition and will be used by workers to sufficiently prepare three (3) meals a day. Employer will offer free transportation to town for personal services (i.e. banking, groceries) at least once per week for non range workers.

Transport: The employer will pay the worker for reasonable costs incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad to the place of employment (inbound/outbound). The employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved

Experience wanted: 3 months

Job requires three (3) months previous farm experience. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license.
