The job
Crawfishing; place crawfish trap stakes in the pond; set out crawfish traps; remove crawfish traps and stakes; stock crawfish ponds; manually cutting up fish bait, baiting traps; operating motorized and push crawfish boats, crawfishing involves removing traps from the pond, emptying crawfish onto sorting tray in boat, sorting crawfish and removing foreign matter then placing crawfish into sacks; traps are re-baited and put back into pond; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond; repair crawfish traps as needed; weigh and tag crawfish; wash and grade crawfish; load crawfish in trucks to deliver to markets/customers; load and unload trucks. Fertilize, spot spray weeds, spraying to maintain vegetation; Monitor field water levels and field water maintenance; Cleaning and treating of the seed rice for planting; Driving a tractor, prepare crawfish ponds; plow fields, planting green rice crop; upkeep of worksites, including mowing grass, weed eating, gathering and removing of debris and litter, weed/pest control; Helping repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, farm roads, fences and worksites.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will provide cooking and kitchen facilities, housing, housing utilities, as well as transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and other necessary items.
Transport: The Employer will provide or pay in advance for transportation, and related daily subsistence, for charter bus services, or other modes of transportation to workers, or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose, and reimburse those workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved for both inbound (to the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed) travel.

Job involves frequent stooping and exposure to extreme temps must be able to lift and carry sufficient weight to lift, carry and move equipment and material necessary to complete assigned tasks. The Employer will rely on workers' own representations and observations of workers to assess if the workers meet this qualification.
Schedule includes one unpaid lunch hour.
Base hours offered is 35 hours/week offered; Additional hours are usually offered during plentiful season and may include an additional 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season.
