The job

A dependable and hardworking Ground Crew Member to support daily operations for a fast-paced agricultural aerial spray service. This position plays a critical role in keeping aircraft safely fueled, loaded, and operating efficiently during spray seasons.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, able to work long hours during peak seasons, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Primary Responsibilities

Mix and load agricultural chemicals and fertilizers according to label and safety requirements

Fuel and service aircraft and support equipment

Assist pilots with daily flight operations and turnaround

Maintain accurate chemical inventory and load records

Clean and maintain loading equipment, pumps, tanks, and vehicles

Operate forklifts, loaders, and other support equipment

Follow all OSHA, EPA, FAA, and company safety procedures

Assist with routine maintenance and upkeep of hangars and facilities

Work extended hours during busy application seasons, including weekends when necessary

Responsibilities and daily duties may change throughout the calendar year depending on seasonal flying demand, weather conditions, maintenance schedules, and operational needs

Qualifications

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly

Comfortable working outdoors in heat, dust, mud, and agricultural environments

Mechanical aptitude preferred

Agricultural background or aviation experience is a plus

Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required

Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures

Forklift experience preferred

Work Environment

This role involves physical labor in outdoor agricultural and aviation environments. Employees may be exposed to chemicals, loud equipment, changing weather, and fast-paced operations during spray season.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: The workers are provided with a kitchen and cooking facilities in the employer-provided housing at no charge.

Transport: Workers will be paid inbound transportation and subsistence expenses of 50% of the contract and will be paid their return transportation and subsistence upon completion of the contract or no-cause termination, from the place of employment to the place of origin. If no receipts are presented, workers shall receive a minimum of $16.78 per day and, if receipts are presented, a maximum of $68.00 per day. Transportation between the housing and worksite will be provided at no cost.

Experience wanted: 3 months

The job requires a driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required. Job duties require workers to be outdoors for extended periods when temperatures range from extreme heat to extreme cold. The job will include standing and bending or sitting for long periods of time
