The job
To perform a variety of tasks related to farm mechanics: tractors, sprayers, pumps, forklifts, gators. Driving between the labor camp and each farm. Oil changes on al farming equipment and company trucks for 10 farms. Repairing mechanical issues with farming equipment. Replacing, fixing, and ordering tires. Ordering mechanical parts from our vendors. Trouble shooting mechanical issues. Communicating to the farm managers on status of repairs. Work will take place outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
One hour lunch break during weekdays.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer does not provide meals. Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dish-washing facilities for meal preparation. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services). Dining, kitchen/cooking facilities and other common areas are shared by all workers.
Transport: Employer provided transportation will be airplane, charter bus, employer operated vehicle, or other common means depending on the workers' country or State of origin. All common means of transportation will meet applicable safety standards and will abide by 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1) & (2). Continued
