Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Housing contains free and convenient cooking facilities and adequate food, free of charge, based on the requisition by worker, for workers to prepare their own meals while on the range. Employer may at times provide prepared meals for workers consumption. Employer will provide worker a minimum of 4.5 gallons of potable water per day per worker for drinking and cooking purposes. Additional clean water will be provided to meet the workers laundry and bathing needs.
Transport: Incoming transportation and advanced/paid on behalf of a worker before 50% completion of the work contract may be deducted from the worker's pay in accordance with applicable state regulations if the worker does not complete 50% of the contract.
Experience wanted: 3 months
Workers must have at least 3 months of experience birthing does/ewes with herds of 200 head or larger on the open range or pasture. One reference required. Applicants who are to be employed in the sensitive positions stated above, may be subject to reasonable cause/upon suspicion drug and alcohol testing (substance testing) at the employer's expense. Any person who is on duty or on standby who is found to use, possess, or be under the influence of illegal or unauthorized drugs or other illegal mind-altering substances or who uses or is under the influence of alcohol to any extent that would impede his ability to perform his or her duties safely and effectively will be terminated. Manufacture, distribution or possession of an illegal drug, or misuse of a prescription drug is also cause for termination.
Occasional need to drive truck to haul water, pick up supplies or nutrition supplements to maintain herd health. A drivers license is desirable but not required for the position.
