The job
Beekeeping which includes hive management, building and maintaining hives, inspecting hives, splitting hives, transporting hives, feeding bees,
treating bees for pests and diseases, managing the surrounding area and land to ensure the bees do not become a nuisance to neighbors and to ensure the bees safety, harvesting and extracting honey, transporting bees for pollination, and requeening hives.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities for workers to prepare their own meals. Worker will have full access of employer-owned vehicle to use to access stores where worker can purchase groceries. Employer will provide worker with employer-owned vehicle (Dodge Ram 5500, flat bed, 4 doors, 6 seats). Worker’s transportation to groceries stores will be provided as needed, and at worker’s discretion.
Transport: A vehicle will be provided to employee and fuel will be paid by employer.
Experience wanted: 12 months
All costs associated with the workers obtaining a drivers license will be the responsibility of the employer. Also, that drivers will be compensated for driving time, processing paperwork, trips to the gas station, cleaning the vehicle, etc.
