The job

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse for the purpose of preserving and maintaining wildlife habitat on the farm during the migration of waterfowl in our area such as: perform manual labor including using hand tools to remove trees to reclaim land; dig ditches; set overfall pipe to improve drainage; remove debris including using a chain saw; pile trees and other natural debris for burning or decomposing; haul off and discard other debris; manage food plot; inspect and record wildlife population; maintain adequate water levels in dormant crop acres as habitat for wildlife; follow safety protocols and burn off excess growth; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Must speak English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 1 months

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
