The job
workers will perform agricultural duties related to the care and management of honeybee colonies. Duties may include inspecting and maintaining bee colonies and hives, feeding and monitoring colonies as necessary, checking colony health and strength, maintaining and repairing hive equipment, moving and positioning hives, preparing colonies for seasonal production, maintaining apiary locations, and performing other related agricultural tasks necessary for the proper care and management of the bees.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Workers will be provided with fully furnished kitchen.
Housing will have transportation to the grocery store as needed.
Transport: Employer will pay for mode of transportation of the workers choosing to the worksite and reimburse worker at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distance involved as required by regulations. The employer will pay for the workers’ outbound mode of transportation, of the workers choosing, at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distance involved back to where they departed.
