The job

Workers will perform any of the following tasks to attend to livestock, such as on-farm; maintain heated watering system; operate feed wagons. Mix feed and additives, fills feed troughs with feed and water for livestock; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Vaccinate animals by placing vaccine in drinking water or feed using syringes and hypodermic needles; Apply medications to cuts and bruises; spray livestock with insecticide. Confine livestock in stalls, washes, clips them to prepare them for calving, and assists veterinarian in the delivery of offspring. Binds or clamps testes or surgically removes testes to castrate livestock. Clip identifying notches or symbols on the animal, or brand animal, using branding iron to indicate ownership; clean livestock stalls and sheds using disinfectant solutions, brushes, and shovels. Maintain buildings and equipment for the livestock. Repair Fences, corral, and barn. Minor repairs and maintenance to existing barn buildings. Workers will perform general farm labor. Workers may drive grain trucks to transport crops from storage to mill (located on farm). Workers may disk ground to get ready for planting crops, inspect, maintain, and winterize farm equipment and machinery. Workers with driver license may be asked to drive workers from/to housing, worksite, and grocery store.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: The employer will provide housing with a free, convenient, and fully equipped kitchen facilities with refrigerator, stove, pots, pans, utensils and counter space for cooking, that will enable the workers to prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities will include dishwashing facilities with adequate sinks that have hot and cold water under pressure that are in working conditions to sufficiently prepare three (3) meals a day. Employer will also provide free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city to buy food, banking services, and other necessaries. Transportation will be in an approved bus/van/car/truck at no cost to workers.

Transport: Inbound: Employer will provide and pay for lodging in consulate city, a charter bus/van/car/truck/public transportation or plane (travel insurance may be required), to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer.

Must be 18 years or older. It is recommended that you have experience with Agricultural Equipment and knowledge of Agricultural Field work due to safety reasons related to possible equipment injury, heat stroke possibility, and food safety. The employer may conduct a criminal background check on all new applicants for employment. (Owner's Expense). Valid Drivers License required to operate the companys vehicles (no CDL required). Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. All tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. No minimum education required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The majority of the workday is spent on ones feet and outdoors. Workers may stand in one place for any period of time. Workers must be able to climb, stand, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, bend (from the waist), push, pull, reach and lift, extensive walking.
