The job
Workers will be hired to prepare fields and crops before harvest. Applicants should be dependable, safety-conscious, and prepared to perform repetitive physical work in changing weather conditions. Workers will plant seedlings, young plants, and other crops by hand or with farm provided tools as directed; Clear fields of weeds, debris, rocks, old plant material, and other obstructions as needed before planting; Prepare planting areas by raking, leveling, shaping, and organizing rows or beds; Lay and secure plastic lining along planting rows, keeping it straight and properly positioned for planting; Assist with measuring and spacing rows and plants according to supervisor instructions; Carry, load, unload, and distribute plants, tools, supplies, and materials throughout the field; Workers will be trained to use hand tools and basic farm equipment safely and responsibly. This is hard, physically demanding work performed primarily outdoors. Applicants must be able to work safely in hot weather, direct sunlight, humidity, dust, dirt, and other normal farm conditions. Applicants must be able to stand and walk for long periods, including walking over uneven ground. This type of work requires frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and kneeling. The ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds is recommended. Applicants should be able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods and maintain a steady work pace. Housing: Rental or public accommodations
Meals: Housing sites are provided with amenities for all workers to prepare their meals daily.
Transport: Employer will all provide workers with chartered buses to transport them to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer (inbound) and from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed (outbound) at no charge to them. Any reasonable daily subsistence cost incurred during travels will reimbursed to the to the worker at
no more than $16.78 per day at least.

This type of work, involves working conditions that require tremendous stamina, a high level of physical activity in cold or extremely hot conditions in direct sunlight and in adverse weather such as rain. The work requires a high level of physical conditioning. Due to the type of work involved, if worker can not maintain the level of production set forth by the farmer, the worker will have to be terminated for being unable to complete the work as deemed in this order.
