The job

The job description is for a farmworker/groom for a Thoroughbred horse farm ', NACIS code 711219, SOC code 45-0000, ONET code 45-2093 Farmworkers, farm, ranch. The occupational Title is Farmworker Livestock code with SVP 4.

The job includes feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, grooming, bathing, giving medications, bandaging, detecting illness and injuries, walking horses and turning horses out. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. Hours Monday - Saturday 6:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: The employer will provide convenient use of the kitchen in the mobile homes.

Fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils that enables the workers to prepare their own meals. Free transportation in an approved vehicle will be provided at least once a week to the grocery store for the workers to purchase food and run errands. The approved and fully insured vehicle will be a 2015 Ford F250 which seats 5 persons and will be driven by a licensed driver. I Thomas Mark Roberts, will be using a 2nd vehicle to transport the other workers, the vehicle will be a; 2021 Chevy Blazer which seats 5 people and driven by a fully insured licensed driver.

Transport: The employer will provide reimbursement of transportation inbound to employment and outbound from the place of employment, and related subsistence costs. Workers will be reimbursed at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charge for the distance. Workers can choose their carrier transportation.
