Farm Ranch and Animal Worker

The job
Under 45-2093.00: Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery only used in winter months for snow removal and feeding animals, and heated section of barn so that equipment is operational during coldest weather. Cleaning snow off of cattle feeding grounds. Clearing snow
from yards and barn. Monitor water levels and stock tank heaters to ensure heated water troughs are functioning. Removing ice from water. Chopping ice in dams. Examining animals to detect weather related injuries. Moving animals for protection from winter weather.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers may prepare their own meals. Employer will provide (on a voluntary basis) transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
Transport: The employer will provide advance transportation for a reasonable (most economical) common carrier or other transportation which conforms tot he Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) for inbound transportation (if it is the prevailing practice). If not the prevailing practice, the employer will reimburse the worker for the transportation costs and subsistence to the employer's work site when the worker completes 50% of the work period.
Experience wanted: 3 months
Minimum of three (3) month's of experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-60 days of hire.
