The job
Clear land, prepare the land for planting of trees; Privet, Maples, Dogwood, Arborvitae. Start of the season they will be preparing the land for planting, as to clearing the land, setting up the irrigation, digging, cultivating, composting deer fencing, snow removal, make firewood and maintain property. The workers will also be maintaining the property and equipment/trucks and tractors. Possible additional hours 0-20 hr wk, hours vary per wk. Hours worked over 54 will be paid as O/T hr. Work on Saturday and Sunday when necessary. Discretionary bonus may be given at employers discretion.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will not provide 3 meals a day. Employer will provide furnish free dishes, cooking
utensils and convenient kitchen and cooking facilities. Employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals, and/or medical necessities. Once a week the employer will offer to provide free transportation to assure workers access to the closest store where they can purchase groceries and other incidentals.
Transport: Employer will provide or pay for inbound/outbound airline tickets, charter bus services, or other commercial bus service to H-2A or U.S. workers or permit workers to select any means of transportation that they choose. Employer will reimburse workers inbound/outbound costs at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved

A drug test and background check will be done post hire at employers expense. The results of the background check or drug test will not automatically reject U.S. workers. They employ during the season female workers located at the farm where farm workers will also be working. Background checks is essential to protect employees and not hiring any workers with a sex-offense conviction.
