The job

SEASONAL WORK (Deceber 16, 2026 – February 14, 2027)

WINTER OPERATIONS

Feed, water, monitor, move and care for cattle. Load, haul and distribute livestock feed. Receive, sort, load and unload cattle and assist with cattle shipping and movement.

Maintain cattle pens, bedding, feeding areas and livestock watering systems. Remove snow and ice where necessary to maintain agricultural access to cattle, feed, water, livestock facilities, equipment and livestock loading areas.

Prepare livestock facilities and equipment for the approaching calving season. Perform minor maintenance of livestock equipment, fences, gates and water systems when incidental to livestock operations.

Work is performed outdoors during winter conditions, including freezing temperatures, snow and ice.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will Furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals and will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.

Employer may provide occasional meals when kitchen facilities are not available for workers to use. And if meals are provided, meals will not be deducted.

Transport: The Employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and provide reimbursement upon arrival at the farm for all inbound and outbound transportation at no less then the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distance involved. This may include plane, train, bus or automobile.

Experience wanted: 3 months

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Employer shall Provide Necessary Training to worker. Workers Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required.
