Maintenance/Mechanic Worker

The job
The worker will undertake comprehensive equipment servicing that must be scheduled outside the standard operational period due to ongoing utilization. The worker will also manage grain bin upkeep concurrent with grain transfers between storage units. The worker will examine fans, ventilation systems, and access doors, executing necessary repairs and preventive maintenance measures. The worker will monitor moisture content in bins and implement appropriate adjustments. The worker will deliver aeration system management, structural assessment, and grain protection strategies to mitigate spoilage, prevent pest infiltration, and minimize equipment failures.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals, this includes basic appliances, pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls and dish washing facilities for meal preparation etc. The employer will also provide (on a regular weekly basis and at no cost) transportation, to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
Transport: The employer offers prearranged chartered or commercial bus, van, or plane whichever is the most economical and reasonable means for the distance involved for the inbound and outbound workers travel. See addendum for more information.

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
