The job
Workers will perform routine manual labor associated with the maintenance and care of blueberry fields. Duties include mowing, trimming vegetation, removing weeds, applying mulch, maintaining drainage ditches, installing, repairing, and removing irrigation lines, and maintaining row middles and field borders. Workers will assist with pruning blueberry bushes, removing dead or damaged branches, and clearing debris from fields. Workers may help install and remove bird netting, stakes, fencing, and other field infrastructure. Workers will perform general farm maintenance, including cleaning and repairing equipment, picking up trash and field debris, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a safe and orderly worksite. Employer provides tools for job duties at no cost to the worker.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer does not provide meals. Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dishwashing facilities for meal preparation. All workers share dining, kitchen/cooking facilities, and other common areas. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, the employer will provide free transportation once per week to/from the nearest town or city for personal errands (e.g., purchasing groceries, banking, shopping). If kitchen facilities become unavailable during the contract period, the employer will provide three daily meals in accordance with 20 CFR 655.122(g). In such circumstances, the employer will not charge for such meals.
Transport: Employer pays/reimburses foreign workers for all visa-related costs (excluding passport fees) in the first workweek. For non-commuting workers, the employer pays/reimburses reasonable travel costs (transportation, daily subsistence, and lodging if applicable) from the place the worker departed to the employer’s place of employment. In compliance with the applicable regulation found at 20 CFR 655.121(h)(2), for U.S. workers who complete the work contract & are eligible for the outbound transpo

The employer will only conduct a drug test only if the worker (employee) is in a work-related accident. The drug testing will be at the employers expense. If the worker fails the drug test or refuses the drug testing, this will be probable cause for termination of employment.
