The job
1. Service, repair, and rebuild tractors, combines, drills, sprayers, and trucks in the shop
2. Monitor stored grain for moisture, temperature, and insects, and run aeration fans
3. Clean out bins, augers, and grain-handling equipment
4. Clean and treat seed and get drills ready for spring seeding
5. Plow snow and keep yards, roads, and bin sites open
6. Maintain shops, buildings, and fuel and chemical storage
7. Run for parts and pick up supplies
8. Help with inventory and basic records
9. Help load trucks for hauling to the elevator, move augers etc.
10. Feed cattle daily (hay, supplement, mineral) using a tractor or bale processor
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient kitchen facilities, in working order, including refrigeration, a space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so workers can prepare their own meals. Workers will be provided with a vehicle they can use to access stores wehre they can purchase groceries.
Transport: Employer will provide transportation from the airport to the place of employment, and from the place of employment back to the airport. Employer will either purchase airline tickets for employees or reimburse employees for the cost of airline tickets, whichever is more convenient for the workers.
Experience wanted: 3 months
Worker must be able to obtain a MT Driver's License.
Work requires extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, bending, and repetitive movements, including in shop, bin, yard, and livestock-feeding areas.
