The job
All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Move, feed and medicate bees. Put on supers. Harvest and extract honey. Process beeswax. Build and repair bee boxes. General maintenance of equipment and sanitation of plant.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Fully furnished kitchen provided. Workers will have access to grocery stores at least once per week.
Transport: The employer will provide advance transportation for reasonable (most economical) common carrier or other transportation which conforms to the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) in bound transportation (if it is the prevailing practice). If not the prevailing practice, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation costs and subsistence to the employer's work site when the worker completes 50% of the work period.
Experience wanted: 3 months
Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively. A Class C Drivers license is required within 30 days of hire. All costs associated with obtaining the Driver's License will be the responsibility of the employer.
