Beekeeper Helper

Pay: $19.75/hour
Season: Jan 1, 2027 – Jun 15, 2027

Employer-provided housing; Transportation provided/reimbursed
The job
Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment. Prepare bees to perform pollination work. Load and unload beehives. Split bee colonies. Feed and medicate bees. Monitor, maintain and increase beehives. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Prepare bee colonies to be shipped to Montana for the honey production season.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Fully furnished kitchen provided. Workers will have access to grocery stores at least once per week.
Transport: The employer will provide advance transportation for reasonable (most economical) common carrier or other transportation which conforms to the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) in bound transportation (if it is the prevailing practice). If not the prevailing practice, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation costs and subsistence to the employer's work site when the worker completes 50% of the work period.
Experience wanted: 3 months
Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively.
