The job
Perform agricultural work related to the production and harvesting of pine trees and nursery stock. Duties include preparing fields; planting and transplanting trees and seedlings; cultivating, weeding, pruning, trimming, fertilizing, watering, irrigating, and applying approved agricultural treatments. Monitor and maintain trees throughout the growing season. Harvest, grade, sort, prepare, store, load, and unload trees for sale and shipment. Collect and handle pine straw produced from the tree-growing operation. Operate tractors, mowers, farm vehicles, trucks, and other agricultural equipment. Transport the employer’s trees, agricultural products, equipment, and supplies as needed. Perform minor equipment maintenance. Perform light office and recordkeeping duties directly related to the agricultural operation, including maintaining records of tree planting, cultivation, treatments, maintenance, harvesting, inventory, and shipment.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Fully equipped kitchen facilities will be available to prepare meals and lunch for work. Transportation will be provided to travel to grocery stores to purchase groceries. Workers will not be charged for meals.
Transport: The inbound flights or most economical transportation will be reimbursed once a worker completes 50% of his contract. Once a worker completes 100% of the contract the outbound flight or most economical transportation will be reimbursed or provided.

Applicants should have a class D driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. All testing will occur post-hire and is not a part of the interview process.
Negative result may be required post-hire and before commencing work. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. to shoulder height repetitively
throughout the workday and able to lift and carry 60 lbs. Must not hinder another workers productivity. Use of personal cell phone or
other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation
may result in immediate termination. Must commit to work the entire anticipated period of employment. Workers are expected to
perform any of the listed duties and work on any crop as assigned by the employer and/or workers supervisor.
