The job
All aspects of beekeeping. Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment. Isolate and raise queen bees. Split bee colonies. Feed and medicate bees. Monitor, maintain and increase bee hives. Harvest, extract and package honey. Operate forklift to stack pallets. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment at the end of the season. May not have bee, honey, or pollen related allergies. Approximate staggered entry: 4 workers to begin Jan 3, 2027 and 2 workers to begin March 3, 2027.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
