The job
From January 4, 2027 through October 4, 2027
For ten months, workers perform several manual tasks. They clean fields and prepare to plant, harvest grains and harvest hay to prepare food for horses., Repair fences and clean stables and stalls, Horse care and management. Workers will plant grains, oats, wheat, and sorgo to prepare horse feed.
Foaling Season begins late winter early spring., Twenty-five (25) pregnant mares are beginning foaling season, foals are being born late winter or early Spring., mares kept in stables.while workers should feed and water morning and night, as well as bath and vaccinate the new foals observerance for diseases when foaling and clean and help mares when foaling to bring out the new born performing manual tasks in the hour of mares labor.
From August 1st, through September 30th. Mares and coalts are managed and well kept inside stables by feeding and watering. + Workers repair fences, clean and prepare pastures (using farm machinery)January through spring , All mares and 8 months old colts are put out on pastures and fed separately with hay rolls and grains out on different pastures. Employer has decided to begin its temporary help from winter months through spring summer to October. This change is due to the drought that has made the soil very dry and hard to move and plant the grains for horse feed.
foaling again From March 9, th through April 30th, more mares come every year to Leon Ranch,
Business in selling quality yearlings providing satifaction which meets clientelles espectations in strong healthy colts of 8 months to a year old. Breeding/ mating took place in February and now foaling season will begin in March. Thank you and May God bless you.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: EMPLOYER PROVIDES CONVENIENT FACILITIES FOR WORKERS TO PREPARE THEIR OWN MEALS.
ONCE A WEEK -EMPLOYER WILL TRANSPORT WORKERS TO A CONVENIENT GROCERY STORE, TO PURCHASE NECESSARY SUPPLIES.
Transport: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, or is terminated without cause, and the worker has no immediate subsequent H-2A employment, the employer agrees to pay for the worker's transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed to work for the employer.
The amount of the transportation payment will be equal to the most economical and reasonable similar common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved.
