The job
Workers will be required to repair fences, work in the cattle barn, maintain and repair sheds. Some drainage and shovel work may be required after harvest because of the hurricane and high winds and the harvest tractors tearing up the fields. Drug tests may be administered post-hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Worker must abide all posted work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Housing is furnished free of charge and the house has a kitchen and cooking facilities for the workers to cook.
The workers will be transported weekly to stores to purchase groceries and other necessities.
Transport: Workers will choose the mode of transportation for inboud and outbound transporation. Workers will be reimbursed upon 50% completion of the contract for the most economical mode of transportation from the place of origin to the place of employment. Outbound transportation will be paid from the place of employment to the place of origin or the subsequent H2A certified employer upon completion of the contract, any extension or upon no cause termination.
