The job
Seine, clean, grade & sort fish. Drive tractors to seine fish. Drive a tractor to maintain pond dams. Drive trucks to feed & haul fish on farm. Load and unload trucks. Hand harvest fish with nets. Hand harvest fish eggs. Hand carry, load and unload 60lb bales of egg mats. Must be able to carry 2 25lb buckets of fish. Must be able to tolerate extreme heat and/or cold for long hours. Other farm duties as necessary. Must have a valid drivers license. Workers may be compensated at greater than the minimum pay scale based on experience and work performance. Hours offered to workers will be greater than the minimum 40 hours when the work load is greater than normal. Total workers requested: 9. Workers will be brought in on a staggered schedule to align with harvest peaks: Group 1 (5 workers) from 01/07/2027 to 11/6/2027; Group 2 (4 workers) from 02/25/2026 to 11/30/2026.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities are provided for workers to prepare their meals. Workers will provide their own groceries. Workers will be transported to the closest local grocery store at least once per week utilizing the same transportation as is used for moving workers to and from work site.
Transport: Inbound and outbound transportation will be reimbursed calculated on the worker's actual cost but no more than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distance involved. Employees are given the opportunity to choose their means of transportation but in some instances the employer may pay for said transportation directly if agreed upon with the worker and the employer.
