The job
Work in an apiary with honeybees.
Duties:
Lift repeatedly up to 60lb
Breed queen bees
Apply treatment for mites
Feed hives
Extract honey
Split hives
Assemble hive equipment
Drive and operate equipment to move the bees around
Housing: Rental or public accommodations
Meals: The house comes with a full equiped kitchen that is available to use. Workers will have access to a local grocery store to buy groceries and all necessities.
Transport: The employer will reimburse workers for inbound transportation and related daily sustenance upon completion of 50% of work contract. The employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved. The employer will pay for outbound transportation and sustenance upfront upon completion of the work contract.
Experience wanted: 12 months
Lift repeatedly up to 60lb. Experience with breeding queen bees. Experience with managing beehives. Work on the feet most of the day. Have a driver's license and be able to operate equipment for moving bees.
