The job
Drive and control agricultural equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil;
planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural
production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Load and unload crops. Mix
specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or
sprayer machinery. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.
Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts
and hand tools. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant,
fertilize, dust, and spray crops.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Kitchen facilities, utilities and utensils will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker. Worker will prepare their own meals. Upon request, employer will provide transportation to stores at least every two weeks for shopping for food and other necessary items at no cost to the worker
Transport: Employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose with a reasonable charge for travel to and from the
place of employment to the place from which the worker departed. All common means of transportation will meet all applicable safety
Experience wanted: 3 months
Must be able to obtain a Driver's License within 30 days of hire. Extended work hours during certain seasons such as haying. Employer reserves the right to pay higher than the advertised minimum wage.
