General Farm Worker

The job
Drives and operates farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops and grains such as certified seed potatoes, wheat, soybeans, pinto, and black beans. The workers will load trucks owned by the buyers with seed potatoes that have been purchased. Routine maintenance will need to be done on equipment, buildings, and grounds including snow removal. All crops and locations are owned by Mitchell Jorde.
Employees must have a valid driver's license or be capable of obtaining one in 60 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only.
NO TEXTING, No Educational level is required must be able to lift 50 pounds.
2 months of tractor driving with towed implements equipped with computerized monitors.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English for Safety instructions and record keeping.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Workers are provided with a fully furnished kitchen where they can make their meals. When they cannot return to their home base for meals they will be provided with coolers to pack their lunches.
They will be provided with transportation to the closest supermarket once a week where they can purchase groceries and personal items 1 blocks away. Housing is located within city limits.
Transport: When a worker has completed 50% of the contract Employer will reimburse worker cost of airfare and daily subsistence (a minimum reimbursement of $ 16.78 per day and a maximum reimbursement of $ 68.00 per day. (Receipts required) from place of recruitment (inbound) to placement of work. Upon completion of contract, the employer will pay return cost of airfare (outbound) to the place of recruitment, except when worker does not return to the place of original recruitment or an extension is filed.
Experience wanted: 2 months
Required current driver's license or capable of obtaining one in 60 days.
Workers must have two months tractor driving with computerized monitors experience.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Speak, read, write and understand English language for record keeping and safety reasons.
