The job
We need help gathering pecans, assist at pecan cleaning plant, packing and shipping pecans and trimming trees and orchard maintenance using hand tools, hedging, clearing and disposing of branches and dead trees. transplanting saplings. dig and loosen soil. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: box sorting equipment. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: pecans
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 3 months
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
