The job
Inspect the hives, determine the strength, queen performance, be able to split if necessary. Observe if the hive is short on honey, pollen or if there are signs of any disease and act accordingly to address the issues. Be able to make nucs, use the forklift load/unload hives, drive a 2 ton truck with beehives and trailer behind. Collect supers with honey and use the extractor. Good team worker.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Housing includes a kitchen equipped with sink, refrigerator and stove and other like electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker etc. There are grocery stores in nearby towns.
Transport: A pick up truck will be available for worker to drive or worker will be given a ride to work.
Experience wanted: 12 months
Be able to use all terrain forklift. Drive a flatbed 2 ton truck loaded with hives and trailer with forklift behind. Be able to collect supers with honey that can weight 75 lbs. Be able to use honey extractor equipment.
