The job
This is a seasonal pre-conditioning yard, where cattle are brought in during October and fattened on winter wheat crops until April when the cattle are sold to market or auctioned. During this time workers will process, check and feed cattle, service feeding equipment, provide maintenance on fences, keep barns and pens clean, and provide general upkeep maintenance. Workers must have 2 months of verifiable cattle working experience.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals, this includes basic appliances, pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls and dish washing facilities for meal preparation etc. The employer will also provide (on a regular weekly basis and at no cost) transportation, to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
Transport: The employer offers prearranged chartered or commercial bus, van, or plane whichever is the most economical and reasonable means for the distance involved for the inbound and outbound workers travel. The employer will reimburse the worker for transportation costs and daily subsistence to the employer’s work site from the place of which they have come when the worker completes 50% of the work period or is terminated without cause and the employer will at the end of the contract, advance or pay

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may request additional work hours based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
