The job
Operate agricultural equipment to perform manure spreading to improve soil quality and enhance nutrient cycling for the upcoming planting season (alfalfa, beans and corn).
The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., with potential nights and weekends required depending on the crops and weather.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Company will provide free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities to the workers that will enable the workers to prepare their own meals. The facilities include refrigeration, microwave, stove top or portable stove top, various cooking accessories, and an adequate sink with both hot and cold water and adequate water pressure, all of which are in working condition. Within the facilities is available cabinet space to store food that does not require refrigeration and counter space for food preparation. Company makes available vehicles to workers at no cost to access grocery stores whenever necessary outside of working hours. Company will also provide optional, free meals during harvest if workers choose to eat them.
Transport: Inbound and outbound transportation will be provided and paid for by the employer (i.e., advanced cost) at the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved. Upon production of receipts, employer will reimburse daily subsistence and lodging costs for inbound and outbound travels as required by the Department of Labor.
