The job

Hog Loaders - Workers will load livestock from inside barns to the loading Shute, working with drivers to sort the animals safely, productively, and efficiently, properly using herding boards to move animals from pen to aisle. They will accurately count animals onto the truck and confirm with the driver the correct number of animals loaded. The workers will sanitize the barns, vehicles, and equipment utilizing appropriate machinery, disinfectants, and PPE while respecting biosecurity lines. They will split ill, injured, or small animals from the others and ensure the proper execution of euthanasia procedures based on the animal's size and that animals received have appropriate feed, water, and environment for optimal productivity. Employees will annotate information regarding loading/receiving times, number of live animals received, number of dead animals received, number of ill or injured animals, condition of animals upon being received, condition of trucks used for loading animals, and other pertinent production data. The workers will not be driving the trucks. Workers must comply with all employer biosecurity and disease prevention protocols designed to reduce the risk

of disease transmission between livestock facilities. Compliance with these protocols is an essential function of the position.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers may prepare their own meals. Employer will provide (on a voluntary basis) transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals.

If free and convenient kitchen facilities become unavailable for any reason, the employer will provide three (3) meals a day for which it will charge individual workers, by payroll deduction, no more than the daily permitted amount as provided in 20 CFR 655.173, which was $16.78 as of April 7, 2026, and which may be increased during the period of this employment.

Transport: Employer will either arrange for inbound and outbound transportation via a charter bus service for the worker, or if the worker prefers to arrange their own transportation, Employer will reimburse the worker at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved as well as for the related daily subsistence costs while the worker is traveling. Experience wanted: 2 months

2 months of experience working with livestock. Workers must be able to follow detailed biosecurity protocols. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds for 75 yards. 2 weeks of training provided.
