The job
Workers will perform a variety of livestock care duties including feeding, watering, herding,
grazing, and monitoring animals to ensure health and productivity. Duties include assisting with
breeding and birthing, castrating, branding, vaccinating, and medicating livestock as directed.
Workers will clean, repair, and maintain barns, pens, pastures, fences, and water systems;
harvest, store, and distribute feed, hay, and supplements; and lay out salt/mineral blocks.
Additional duties include catching, weighing, loading, and transporting animals as required, as
well as operating tractors, ATVs, and other equipment related to livestock care. Work is
performed outdoors in all weather conditions and may require long hours, including weekends
and holidays.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: The employer will provide, at no cost to the workers and without requiring a deposit, convenient
and fully equipped cooking facilities for meal preparation. Workers will either be provided
transportation or allowed to drive themselves to a nearby store to purchase their own food and
cooking supplies.
The housing includes essential appliances such as a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and
an operational sink with both hot and cold water.Additionally, the housing is equipped with WiFi, a fully furnished kitchen, and beds. Bath facilities and linens are also provided.
Each household will be supplied with one multi-passenger vehicle for transportation purposes.
