The job
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2093 Farm and Ranch Animals such as and not limited to: care for livestock by feeding, supplying hay and maintaining water; breaking ice and thawing tanks and lines during cold weather; manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms, including control levers and joysticks used to raise, lower, and position buckets, blades, and attachments; drive JD 333G and 333D compact track loaders and other equipment to remove snow and ice from farm roads, equipment areas, livestock/crop production areas, and other portions of the agricultural operation as necessary to maintain access to the farm and agricultural facilities; observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions and report problems to the employer; perform seasonal winterization and preparation of equipment for cold-weather storage or operation; transfer anhydrous ammonia used in crop production from bulk storage tanks into agricultural nurse tanks; monitor gauges, valves, hoses, fittings, and connections meters and other equipment during transfer; connect and disconnect hoses and fittings and inspect equipment for leaks or unsafe conditions; transport nurse tanks and agricultural fertilizer equipment between the employer's farm facilities and the fields; position and deliver tanks and equipment at fields. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team. All duties are performed in connection with the employer's agricultural operation and require mechanical knowledge and the ability to safely operate and control the equipment listed above. Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 12 months
Twelve (12) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
