The job
Workers will trim trees, plant trees, and perform orchard maintenance, repair bins, driving tractors and farm vehicles. Operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (weather on or off the farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach the farm fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as needed basis Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess an appropriate license, no one will be rejected for this position that does not possess a drivers license.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: a free fully stocked kitchen with appliances is available, the farmer will transport workers to the store and bank weekly for all their grocery needs. Workers will prepare their own food.
Transport: The employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to groups of workers, or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved for both inbound and outbound transportation for both to and from the place of employment.
