The job
REPAIR FENCE, MAINTAIN FARM BUILDINGS (KEEP CONTENTS TIDY AND PERFORM CLEANUP, RODENT CONTROL, AND MINOR REPAIRS SUCH AS TOUCH-UP PAINTING), REPAIR WATER LINES, REPAIR AND INSTALL IRRIGATION. MANAGE PASTURES BY REMOVING NOXIOUS WEEDS AND KEEPING ACCESS PATHS OPEN AND CLEAR OF BRUSH AND WEEDS, APPLY IRRIGATION AS NEEDED. FEED, WATER HERD LIVESTOCK TO PASTURE FOR GRAZING EXAMINE ANIMALS TO DETECT DISEASE AND INJURY. ASSIST WITH VACCINATION OF LIVESTOCK BY HERDING INTO CORRAL OR MANUALLY RESTRAINING ANIMAL ON THE RANGE. APPLY MEDICATION TO WOUNDS .
Drive tractor to move hay and feed cattle.
Must be able to ride and handle horse in a manner to assure safety of worker, co-workers and livestock.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer does not provide meals. Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dish-washing facilities for meal preparation. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services). Dining, kitchen/cooking facilities and other common areas are shared by all workers.
Transport: Employer provided transportation will be airplane, charter bus, employer operated vehicle, or other common means depending on the workers' country or State of origin. All common means of transportation will meet applicable safety standards and will abide by 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1) & (2). Continued
