The job
Assist in various breeding programs, including heat detection and pulling for artificial insemination. Assist in care of cattle, including vaccinating, branding, feeding, and treating sick animals. Clean and feed bunks and water troughs, mow pastures, spray weeds on buildings, and perform fence maintenance and bale hay. Sat. and/or Sun. Work may be required depending on animal needs. Possibility of performance based raise, bonuses, overtime and Saturdays as required. Starting wage from 15.37 for H2A workers and $16.66 for US workers to 18.50, based on tenure and experience.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Meals will not be provided. Employer will provide workers with free and convenient cooking facilities to prepare meals. In the event that kitchen facilities become unavailable, the employer will charge workers a daily meal charge of $16.78 pursuant to 20 CFR 20 CFR 655. 122(g). Employer also furnishes free transportation each week to and from town for personal errands (groceries, bank, etc.). Vehicle is a Ford F150 pickup truck - Capacity 5 passengers
Transport: Employer reimburses foreign workers for all visa related costs incurred. Employer reimburses/ pays all non-local workers for costs incurred by inbound and outbound travel expenses (daily subsistence, lodging, transportation), by the 50% mark of the contract period. In the event that a worker's expenditures drop their earnings below FLSA minimum wage, reimbursement will be made within the first work week. Transportation reimbursement is based upon the rate of the most economic common carrier.

This job requires 3 months of agricultural experience working on a cattle ranch, handling both manual and mechanized tasks.
