The job
Perform all duties related to the care and management of beef cattle including feeding, watering, herding, sorting, branding, tagging, and vaccinating livestock; assist with calving, weaning, and moving cattle between pastures; monitor and report on animal health and behavior; identify and treat minor illnesses or injuries as directed; clean and maintain barns, pens, corrals, feed bunks, and water systems; repair and maintain fences and ranch facilities; operate tractors, ATVs, loaders, and other ranch equipment to feed cattle, haul hay, or perform maintenance; assist with maintenance and repair of vehicles, machinery, and equipment used in daily operations; follow all safety and animal welfare procedures; work outdoors in all weather conditions; perform general ranch labor as needed including grounds maintenance, facility upkeep, and seasonal tasks associated with livestock production. Must speak and understand English.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 3 months
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
