The job
Attend to live farm animals that include cattle; Inspect, maintain, fashion, repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, fences including electric; Place yearling cattle on wheat pasture for grazing; Drive equipment to distribute feed and mineral to animals to supplement diet; Monitor animal health; Break ice in watering facilities; Pull cattle off wheat prior to hollow stem; Wean yearlings; Sort yearlings to be sold; Prepare calving areas; Process cattle by administering medicine; Assist with birth deliveries. When not attending to cattle, employee will need to be able to harrow fields to harrow in lime. Must speak English.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 3 months
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
