The job
Drive and operate farm machinery, including GPS-equipped tractors and combines, to plant, cultivate, and harvest wheat and bean
crops.
Operate towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow, prepare soil, seed, and fertilize.
Transport materials, supplies, and crops from fields or bin storage to local grain elevators.
Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and grounds; work independently after instruction and as part of a team.
Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
Meals: The workers will have a fully furnished kitchen with cooking and eating utensils where they can
prepare their meals. When they cannot return for meals they will be provide with lunch cooler to
pack their lunches.
Workers will be provided with transportation one a week to the closest grocery store where
the workers can purchase their groceries and personal item. Distance to the closest grocery
store is 8 miles
Transport: Completion of 50% of work contract Employer will reimburse worker for cost of air fare transportation and daily subsistence incoming
(minimum reimbursement of $ 16.78 per day and a maximum reimbursement of $ 68.00 per day) from place of
recruitment to placement of work. Upon 100% completion of the contract employer will pay return outbound airfare to place of
recruitment, except when worker does not return to place of recruitment or extension has been file
Experience wanted: 3 months
Employees must have valid drivers license or obtain one in 30 days.
Semi-truck driving experience is required.
Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls only. NO TEXTING.
No smoking in the equipment, vehicles, housing or grounds.
No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours otherwise discouraged.
No Educational level required. Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons.
Must have three months tractor driving experience installed with GPS and towed implements
